bianca filser is a photographer and graphic designer who is based on central vancouver island.
bianca grew up in germany and is a graduate of the professional photography program as well as the advanced visual communications program at the western academy of photography in victoria, british columbia.
"i have been exploring places primarily working with an old ensign camera from the 1950s which creates an ethereal, antique look that brings a timeless quality to these places. i consider my work to be landscape photography - empty streets, open spaces, details - i like mixing natural and urban landscapes all in one. i approach my subject matter intuitively."
